Frequently Asked Questions
Drive & Company specializes in crafting unique road trip experiences for driving enthusiasts. Our mission is to provide memorable getaways centered on the joy of driving and the thrill of exploration while creating a welcoming community where like-minded individuals can bond over their shared passion for cars and travel adventures.
We create driving experiences that go beyond the early morning Sunday drives and Cars & Coffee meets. While these types of events are fun, we strive to offer a more immersive experience that offers a full weekend of driving, dining, experiences and friendship.
Our trips are designed to get you out driving, experiencing amazing destinations, and back in one weekend. We also plan extended driving adventures over long weekends for even more driving fun.
We are based in the New York City area, with trips planned in any direction from NYC where great roads and interesting destinations await.

The only requirements are a passion for cars and driving. All you need to bring are yourself and your car (and a weekend bag, of course). We will supply walkie talkies, photographer, and of course the full itinerary of great driving roads, dining, and lodging.
We aim to be respectful all communities we pass through and to our fellow motorists. All traffic laws must be obeyed, and we expect all of our participants to be courteous on and off the road.
There are no restrictions to the type of car you can bring on a tour with us. However, please note that we will be exploring smaller backroads and highways that may not have the freshest tarmac. Some modern exotics are designed for track-smooth tarmac, and we can't promise to deliver. If you love your car, and it is well sorted (relatively reliable), we'd love to see it on our drive!
Each day on a tour is designed to allow the group to experience a full day of driving, with breaks and lunch scheduled. Depending on the speed of the roads on a route, a typical driving day can be anywhere from 150 - 250 miles, totaling 7-8 hours that includes driving, lunch, and breaks.
Our driving tours are all-inclusive. We provide the route, and arrange group discounts on meals, hotels / AirBnBs, and destination events. Radios are provided to facilitate communication between participants during the tour. We also contract a professional photographer to join us on the drive to capture the magic of a group rally for all to post on their socials.
Our events are designed for you to travel the route at your own pace; we do not provide a lead. The group may stick together, or split up and regroup at the next break stop. We do encourage participants to travel together in smaller groups, because driving is always more enjoyable with friends (new and old), while keeping a larger group together can become challenging and distract from the fun. We find that groups of 3-5 cars provide an ideal experience.
As part of the registration process, you'll have the opportunity to share any food allergies or dietary restrictions. We’ll work with the dining establishments we visit to make sure options will be available when needed.
We cannot provide any roadside assistance in the event of a mechanical malfunction that will leave your vehicle disabled. We strongly recommend carrying roadside assistance with your insurance provider. After requesting a tow you can radio the rest of the group and ride along with another participant for the remainder of the tour.
A tour guide is provided upon registration. Inside you will find details like where to meet and at what time, what to bring, and what to expect along the way. We ask that all participants arrive at the initial meeting spot with a full tank of gas and have had breakfast.
We use the Rallista app for our drives, which provides turn-by-turn directions on a set route. Rallista will not try to re-route you like Google Maps does when it finds a "faster route", so you can be assured that you are on the correct route.
